Our Middle School is for students ages 12-13. Class size is typically 8-12 students with ages 12 and 13 combined. Middle school classes are taught by 4-5 content-area teachers. For students still gaining English fluency, Intensive English support is available
Placement into Mathematics and German levels are made according to ability and/or last course completed. Middle school students can qualify to begin Secondary-level (high school) mathematics classes like Algebra and Geometry if they demonstrate the ability/aptitude.
Intensive English support is determined on an individual needs basis. Some students may be enrolled in Intensive English Literature & Writing courses in lieu of "mainstream" courses, but in a sheltered-instruction approach.
